Mix-Up+_Assimilation with Nature

  • Duration : April 29 (Fri.) ~ July 17 (Sun.)
  • Venue : Gallery 3 & 4, Ceramic Livingware Gallery

Under the theme of 'Ceramics in Nature and the Environment', the exhibition is divided into eight sections under the concept of 'natural' elements of the moon, water, metal, clay, relaxation, fire, light, and wood. With focus on ceramics, artworks in other genres such as painting, sculpture, glass crafts, lacquer crafts, and floral design are well coordinated with the atmosphere and subject of each space.

Moon and Water
Presented here are works which explore 'form and the essence of nature.'

Metal, Clay, and Fire
This section sheds light on the relationship between nature and humans. Works that express 'man-made nature,' 'the flow of time and its traces,' and 'attributes and meaning of fire’ are presented.

Sun and Wood
Shows works made of media and materials that take inspiration from nature, while adapting to nature.

Relaxation
This section is a place where visitors can rest comfortably in a relaxed atmosphere amid nature. With 'cabbage' as the subject, the paintings and sculptures here invite the viewers to think about the relationship between nature and humans.
