The International Ceramic Symposium for the 2013, 7th Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale invites some of the world's most well known artists and specialists in the art field to lecture as a way of understanding the present tendencies in art and also social conditions, simultaneously as addressing different conceptions, expressions and methods in ceramics. This year with the main theme 'Community -with me, with you, with us' the International Ceramic Symposium focuses on the subject of 'Co-existence'.
There are 10 lectures in total which divides into keynote speeches, special lectures and talks on specific subjects. Issues associated with culture, society, values, education and healing are all brought to the surface at the GICB 2013 International Ceramic Symposium. We hope that the venue will contribute to the overall development of ceramics and art.
