All roads lead to ceramics! 모든 길은 세라믹으로 통한다!

International Competition [Icheon CeraMIX Creativity Center]

160 works by artists from 71 countries the world over were selected and put on display.

The exhibition "The 6th International Competition" will present a wider range of works than previous exhibitions. This time, the works were not categorized as either works of design or works of art. All entries were welcome, including works partly made of other materials or techniques and fused with other genres of art.

Sunday Morning Ceramics [Icheon CeraMIX Creativity Center]

Experimental works by artists participating in the EKWC European Ceramic Work Center.

Projects involving ceramics and sound, and ceramics and CAD/CAM, and the like are shown. Possibilities of adventurous and innovative ceramics are presented through works of ceramics fused with other fields such as music, architecture and medicine.

Contemporary French Ceramics [Icheon Pavilion]

Works by representative contemporary ceramic artists of France today are presented.

In cooperation with Ateliers d'Art de France, works showing cultural characteristic unique to French ceramics and expressive potential of material are presented. This 'Guest Country Exhibition_ France' exhibition intends to shed light on the contemporary ceramics of France and provide a forum for in-depth exchange.

CeraMIX Life [Yeoju Bandal Art Museum]

The concept of CeraMIX materialized and presented in an up-scale department store setting, reflecting today's luxury lifestyle.

This space features woodcrafts, jewelry, a boutique, media, interior design, a fashion show room, a gallery bar, nature, and a lobby. It presents ceramic works which are matched with various fields of art including woodcrafts, glass, metal, video, fashion, floral art and landscaping. This exhibition will satisfy the needs of modern people who prefer to have their own things just for themselves.

Korea-China Ceramic Arts Exchange Exhibition [Gwangju Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum]

Special exhibition in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with China presents representative artists from Korea and China.

Featuring traditional works by ceramic artists from both Korea and China, this exhibition explores the development of the ceramics of Korea and China, allows for comparison of types and characteristics of ceramics of the two countries, and looks at the trends in ceramic art today.

Inlaid Ceramics: Incising and Filling [Gwangju Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum]

Introduces the inlay technique developed by the 12th century Korean potters

Table setting presented by designers of floral art and ceramic artists working together.

In six cubical spaces are shown ceramic jewelry on matching fashion clothes.

10 Years of GICBiennale: KOCEF Collections [Icheon Toyaseum]

Works KOCEF collected over the last ten years are displayed. The works are grouped by continent of origin, and each group is shown in a unique setting.

Photo Exhibition: 10 Years of GICBiennale [Gwangju Gonjiam Ceramic Park]

Photos featuring masterpieces from the last five biennales are shown outdoors.

Glass Art Competition [Icheon CeraMIX Creativity Center]

Works by winners of the Glass Art Competition for Korean artists are displayed in the gallery at the CeraMIX Creativity Center.

Floral Art Design [Icheon CeraMIX Creativity Center]

Floral art works by renowned Korean floral artists are presented.
